On July 14, 2020, the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce announced the 56th annual Mountaineer Days has been canceled. The announcement came via a Facebook post and by an email sent to all of last year’s vendors.

The annual event was scheduled for July 11-12, 2020. However, after careful consideration, the Mountaineer Days Committee decided to cancel this year’s event out of concern of everyone’s safety. They are planning on next year’s event, scheduled to take place on July 10th and 11th, 2021.

Vendors who have already paid for a booth space will be receiving refunds later in the week. Questions can be directed to Allie Keen, the Wrightwood Chamber Administrator, at 760-249-4320 or email at info@wrightwoodchamber.org. Office hours are limited, and she has already received several calls and will get back to everyone as quickly as she can.

The Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce supports local businesses in many ways one of which is by hosting community events such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Ceremony, Taste of The Village, Mountaineer Days, Classic Car Show, 100 Mile Angeles Crest Run, Chili Cook-Off, Veterans Day Ceremony, Wrightwood Mountain Holiday Celebration Weekend, Parade of Lights, and the Pine Needles Quilt Guild Holiday Home Tour. The Chamber can be reached at www.wrightwoodchamber.org or 760-249-4320.
