Yard Sale Weekend is Coming During the weekend of Memorial Day, May 26th thru Monday May 29th there should be plenty of yard sales in our Tri-Community to peruse to find that one of a kind special item you just can’t live without. The annual weekend of yard sales usually begins on Friday and runs thru Monday. Please remember whether you’re driving or walking from one sale to the next to watch for excited shoppers and moving vehicles. Be Safe! Have Fun!! You still have plenty of time to gather your treasures to sell during this weekend. It’s fun to barter whether you’re selling or shopping.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will also be holding a Rummage Sale on May 26th and May 27th, Friday and Saturday. It will be on the grounds of St. Junipero Serra Catholic Church located at 8820 Sheep Creek Road in Phelan. The sale will be from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Proceeds will go to help the people of the Tri-Community. Your support will help the Society of St. Vincent de Paul help others.
While you’re out and about you might like to attend one of our two Tri-Community Memorial Day Ceremonies on Monday, May 29th both begin at 11am. In Wrightwood at the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Evergreen Road and in Phelan at the VFW Post 9415 at Nielson Road.
