Marilyn Moore, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on December 30, 2020, from complications of cancer.
Marilyn was born September 11, 1941, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Her love of animals stayed with her throughout her lifetime. As a child, she loved riding horses and had one of her own. She adored dogs and spent many years as a breeder of German shepherds.
Her home was always open to family—whether for a visit or an extended stay. She loved being a part of family reunions and celebrations. Because of her love for the Lord, we know her home now is in Heaven—whole and free of illness. “Amazing Grace,” her favorite worship song, will always remind her loved ones of the peace she found eternally in Him.
Marilyn’s family is a large, beautifully blended one. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Moore; stepdaughter and her husband, Victoria and Barry Lodge; stepson and his wife, Bill and Robin Tenis; son and his wife, William and Lori Moore; daughter and her husband, Julie and Robert Riggs; son, Vincent Moore; son and his wife, Carl and Beata Moore; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Marilyn’s Life was held at New Life Church on January 23, 2021.
