The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Training Division’s Lady Be Aware is an 8-hour training course with classroom material and designed for women who want to learn and develop the necessary attitude, skills, and knowledge to prevent them from becoming victims. The comprehensive course will consist of 4 hours of classroom instruction, 2 hours of weaponless defense techniques, and 2 hours of shooting practice and gun safety.
The upcoming course will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Department Training Center, located at 18901 Institution Road in Devore.
Participants must be 16 years or older, accompanied by a guardian. The cost is $75 per person. To register email: [email protected]. Credit card payment is due within 24 hours of registration, and once registered, participants will receive additional course details via email.
The cancellation policy allows for one date change or a refund. Please note, that there is no class scheduled for December.
