Wrightwood plays host to the 30th annual Wrightwood Classic Car Show Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show features vehicles dating from the 1920s to 1975, including American-made rods, customs, classics, coupes, muscle cars, trucks, and special interest cars. Also planned are live classic and oldies tunes performed by the Modd Rodds, a food and merchant zone, a beer garden, opportunity drawings (raffle and 50/50), trophies for “Best of” in 18 categories, and Best of Show.
Hundreds of classic vehicles will be on display in and around the Wrightwood Village on Park Drive, Evergreen Road, and adjoining streets for spectators to peruse. There is no spectator admission fee.
Friday night activities for participants include a free hors d’oeuvres happy hour at the Wrightwood Inn. Day-of registration is $50 per car and runs from 7-9:30 a.m.
The Wrightwood Classic Car Show is hosted by the Wrightwood Chamber of Commerce with support from FOX 106.5 Classic Rock, UIA Ultimate Fiber, Wrightwood Fine Foods, Reid’s Garage Doors, and Ontario Hyundai.
