The Women’s Council of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Wrightwood is busy with their famous and delicious pumpkin bread. Each November, for well over 25 years, these ladies have baked the bread using a recipe acquired from a Monastery in Hollywood.
This year’s sale will be a little different. The ladies will not only sell the baked Pumpkin Breads, but you will be able to purchase a Pumpkin Bread Bag containing ingredients needed to bake your own bread. The sale will be on two Saturdays, November 11th and 18th, from 10 a.m. until sold out in front of Mountain Hardware in Wrightwood. This event is very popular and will sell out quickly, so come early and don’t miss out! The Pumpkin Bread Sale has become a time-honored tradition in the Tri-Community, with many counting down the days before the sale.
