The Holiday Season is here. It’s time to send off those Holiday packages so your loved ones will receive them by Christmas. Holiday shipping tips: Double-check addresses. Shake boxes to make sure they are well packed. The following dates are recommended by the post office to insure your holiday packages and greetings get to their destination for delivery by December 25th.
*Dec 9th– APO/FPO/DPO- Priority Mail and First-Class Mail.
*Dec 17th– Contiguous U.S. (excluding Alaska & Hawaii)- USPS Retail Ground, First-Class Mail (including greeting cards). And, First-class packages.
*Dec 19th– Priority Mail.
*Dec 23rd — Priority Mail Express service (no guarantee for this delivery).
Busiest Time: The Postal Service busiest time starts two weeks before Christmas. Beginning with the week of Dec. 6th. Customer traffic is expected to increase, the week of Dec. 12th predicting this to be the busiest mailing, shipping and delivery week.
