Caltrans has been working on a road resurfacing project along Highway 2. Starting Monday, August 30, 2021, and continuing through Thursday, September 2, Caltrans crews will be resurfacing existing lanes on Highway 2. Weather permitting, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily expect one-way traffic control with flagging, delays up to 15 minutes, and a pilot car escort eastbound and westbound between Wildhorse Canyon Road and east of Wright Mountain Road. CHP will be on site to assist with traffic control.
Caltrans is asking drivers to remember to reduce speed in and surrounding the work zone.
