Phelan is offering two locations to donate blood in September. The LifeStream Mobile Blood Bank will visit St. Junipero Catholic Church on Sunday, September 6th from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., located at 8820 Sheep Creek Road. The Red Cross will visit Calvary Chapel on Wednesday, September 23rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. located at 4501 Nielson Road.
LifeStream Blood Bank and the Red Cross emphasize that donating blood is a simple yet impactful way to help those in medical need. All volunteer blood donors must be at least 16 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Those under 16 are required to provide a signed parental consent form.
Staff members will be on-site to guide donors through the process, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. Each donation has the potential to save multiple lives, making every contribution valuable. To schedule an appointment with the LifeStream mobile unit or for more information, visit lstream.org or call 800-879-4484. To schedule with Red Cross go to: redcross.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
