The Wrightwood Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will hold the next CERT Basic Training Class in October 2026 on Friday, 16th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, 17th and 18th from 8:30 a.m to 5 p.m. The three-day classes will be held at the Wrightwood Community Building. There is no cost to take the three-day course. Learn basic emergency response skills to prepare your neighbors and family before, during and after a disaster. CERT educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area and trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
Upon completion of the three-day training program, each attendee will receive a certificate of completion and a CERT backpack containing emergency preparedness items.
You do not have to be a Tri-Community resident to attend. The class is for anyone 18 and over (16 if accompanied by a parent). To register or obtain more information, please email [email protected].
