Deputies responded to a burglary alarm at 12:04pm on Monday, December 12th in the 3200 block of Acacia Road in Phelan. When the deputies arrived at the home they observed two adult males walking a dog near the residence. The homeowner was contacted and informed the authorities that his garage was broken into and several items had been stolen.
Deputies found shoe impressions at the victims residence and proceeded to trace them back to a home in the 3100 block of White Fox Trail in Phelan. Deputies located the same two men they had seen walking their dog on Acacia Road, along with some of the victim’s stolen property at the residence.
The two men were identified as 44-year-old Phelan resident, Levi North and 34-year-old Baldy Mesa resident, Jason Williams. Both were arrested for burglary and booked at High Desert Detention Center. Levi North is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail and Jason Williams is currently held without bail and is on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) due to additional warrants.
