On the morning of August 26, Downtown Burgers in Phelan had a work truck replacing several windows at their restaurant that were damaged when it was vandalized earlier in the month. It is unknown who damaged the window, or if the person was caught

After speaking with several residents with knowledge of what happened, it appears that the windows were broken after closing hours, and that Little Caesars was also vandalized on the same night. The owner of Downtown Burgers declined to comment on the situation.

When the virus first struck the local area, crime appeared to initially decline because of it. But as time has moved on, crime appears to be on the rise again.
