Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is offering a free three-day basic training disaster preparedness course. The course includes three Saturdays of training, April 22, 29 and May 6, 2023 from 8am-4pm. The classes will be held at the Pinon Hills Community Center located at 10433 Mountain Road in Pinon Hills and presented by the Phelan-Pinon Hills & Wrightwood CERT. The Basic CERT program consists of training focusing on first aid, home firefighting, search and rescue, disaster planning and equipment, survival techniques, utility shutoff, triage, treatment, and other subjects pertinent to survival for you, your family and your neighbors.
