The Snowline School District will begin the 2026-27 academic year on Thursday, August 13th. With the start of the new school year fast approaching, it is essential for everyone in the community to exercise extra caution on the roads—particularly in school zones and near bus stops where children may be present.
Drivers are urged to remain vigilant and obey all posted speed limits, especially in designated school zones. Stopping for school buses when their red lights are flashing is not only required by law but is a critical safety measure that helps protect students as they board and exit buses.
The district also reminds parents to plan extra time into their morning routines during the first few weeks of school. Increased traffic and new bus routes may cause delays, so patience and attentiveness will go a long way toward ensuring a safe start to the school year for all. Many of Snowline School District schools have under gone major construction projects during summer break which may cause a change of drop-off and pick-up areas.
